Details of a street now covered by shallow water in the northern part of Aultsville. Originally called Charlesville, Aultsville was named after Samuel Ault who sat in Canada’s first parliament in 1867. The community was home to Sir James Pliney Whitney, Ontario’s sixth Premier (1904-1914).
