Riverside Heights, Ontario, Canada

The remains of two buildings just off shore of what is now a point funneling what appears to be an intense river current, the likely explanation for the streaking effect in this image. These ruins lie close to Crysler Farm, itself flooded, where in a battle of the same name in 1813 American forces were defeated by a British force made up of Tyendinaga Mohawks, Canadians and British regulars, laying the foundation for modern day Canada.
